Apr 2021 — May 2023Developed the UI Component library to streamline development and user experience for a data visualization app, using Storybook and Angular. I also worked with designers and product owners to create an Angular prototype that was used for presenting user flow and usability testing with real users. With this testing, we produced hundreds of feedback points on the UIUX of the data platform prototype, before beta release.
QA Test Engineer
Oct 2020 — Apr 2021Researched in greenfield development to produce a framework for developing a large data platform application, using Amazon Web Services and Terraform. Developed infrastructure-as-code structures for setting up S3, Authentication, and testing. Used Cypress for testing Angular applications.
Work
Mower Masters LLC open_in_new
React website for a local lawn care business. Designed in Figma and built lightning fast, with SEO to help the business get up and running quickly. After the website went live, Mower Masters was immediately getting calls.
Data Platform Prototype open_in_new
Angular high fidelity prototype of a data platform application. I built this prototype for user testing, design feedback, and to be used by product owners to showcase the app workflow. This project marks a turning point in my development as a UIUX Designer/Developer, and the value I bring to design/development teams.
Climbventures open_in_new
React website concept for booking rock climbing expeditions. I was inspired to create an earthy color scheme that aligned with my interest in nature and rock climbing.
Wedding Website open_in_new
I designed our wedding website in Figma, made the logo from scratch, and built the website with React. I experimented with CSS animations and transitions to make the site feel more dynamic, and used SEO to make it online searchable for our guests.
Aurora Component Library open_in_new
Angular component library, displayed through Storybook. I used Figma in combination with design tokens and Style Dictionary to create the design system. This is the start of a passion project to learn more about design systems, component libraries, and Storybook.
Genetic Username open_in_new
Username generator inspired by a typo on Reddit, and my desire to do a fun day project building a vanilla JavaScript app.

I'm a developer driven by a passion for crafting intuitive and beautiful user experiences. My favorite work is where design meets development—building experiences that are both visually engaging and thoughtfully engineered for performance and usability.
Currently, I'm a designer/developer at United Airlines, building a modernized app for United pilots that streamlines their day-to-day tasks and makes the experience more intuitive for new users. Working with stakeholders, designers, and developers, I love to be the bridge that brings the vision to life.
Previously, I worked on a design team to build a prototype for a data visualization platform, where I learned the importance of user testing and having something tangible that the team could interact with for the design process. Now, I've been working with small businesses like Mower Masters and The Supertintendent Lab to bring their work to the web and connect with people. The power of a well functioning, visually pleasing website is strong and I love to see the immediate engagement a website/app can bring to an organization.
In my spare time, I'm mountain biking, seeing live music, or exploring my city that I love dearly: Knoxville, Tennessee.
